The Twilight craze was just getting underway, Katy Perry's biggest hit was controversial because it had the same title as a Jill Sobule single from 1995, and Robert Pattinson wasn't secretly dating Kristen Stewart yet. It was 2008, and it made all the sense in the world for these two to come together for a Karaoke jam and drunkenly butcher a perfectly good Boyz II Men song.
