Sensing the tension in this photo? That's because it was taken in January 2008, shortly after teen star Miley Cyrus broke up with Nick Jonas. Miley was so heartbroken over their split, she told Seventeen, "At first I bawled for a month straight. I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black." The two started dating again about a year and half later, but it was short-lived.

Miley isn't the only big-name Disney star Nick Jonas has wooed: He started dating Selena Gomez in 2008, when they were both 16. Though the two shared a love of golf, apparently, they weren't a match made in squeaky-clean teen idol heaven and officially broke up in 2009... and again in 2010 — although they never admitted to being a couple.

Taylor Swift and Joe Jonas dated for a brief moment in time in 2008 — just long enough for Swift to use their breakup to promote her album Fearless. Jonas, then 19, reportedly dumped Swift in a 27-second phone call so he could start a relationship with actress Camilla Belle, who starred in the Jonas Brothers' video for their single "Lovebug." They lasted several months.

Taylor Swift and her Valentine's Day co-star Taylor Lautner probably never actually dated, but they did step out in public a number of times before the January 2010 release of their film, generating plenty of buzz.
