The Week in Pictures 20-26 July 2013

Saturday:
Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson
These two goofballs can only take District 12's bleakness for so long. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson made a victorious sweep of San Diego Comic-Con, promoting The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, fooling around at press lines, and mingling with their legions of fans.

Sunday:
Bar Refaeli
Even the world's biggest supermodels need a vacation — looking gorgeous all the time can take a lot out of you. However, Bar Refaeli just looks gorgeous all the time without even trying. Here she is swimming off the coast of Ibiza in a shot that might as well be from an international boogie board campaign.

Monday:
Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez
When your best friend turns 21, it's sort of a big deal. Taylor Swift knows this, so she heralded her love for BFF and birthday girl Selena Gomez by tweeting this fanciful picture, along with the caption, "Happy 21st birthday to my friend, and the closest thing I've ever had to a sister."

Tuesday:
The Royal Family
Say hello to the brand new royal family! Prince William and Kate Middleton presented their newborn bundle of joy to the world, and he was very well-received. His name? His Royal Highness Prince of Cambridge, George Alexander Louis. Little George, all 8 pounds and 6 ounces of him, is now the third in line to the British throne after his grandpa and dad

Wednesday:
Nicole Richie
The land of social media is a magical place where people (more specifically, your fans — if you have any) really do want to re-live your throwback moments and snippets of yesteryear. Nicole Richie capitalized on this by posing alongside a portrait of her younger self, writing, "I know I know I HAVEN'T aged a day..."

Thursday:
Michelle Fairley
After the drama and intrigue of last season, the whole world is getting in on the Game of Thrones action. Actress Michelle Fairley gave her show's Tokyo fans some love and even got to pose with two vaguely recognizable pals. Is that a Dothraki warrior and a... shirtless, bald Jon Snow? At the very least, the two grimacing giants look as if they're from the right fantastical time period.

Friday:
 Jennifer Lopez
Everybody knows that the best part of a ribbon-cutting ceremony is the comically large scissors. What can't you cut with scissors that size? Jennifer Lopez got her hands on the big slicers for the Viva Movil by Jennifer Lopez flagship store opening in New York City.
