Sunday: Eva Longoria, Ricky Martin, and Anna Wintour
It turns out that celebrities are all massive fans of tennis. Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour rubbed elbows with Ricky Martin and Eva Longoria at the U.S. Open women's final in the stands of the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. Basically, the lesson here is that if you want to mingle with the super rich and famous, you better brush up on your tennis.
Monday: Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift brought her unique brand of cuteness to the Great White North while hanging out at the Toronto International Film Festival. The uber-popular singer was in town to promote One Chance, a festival film she wrote a song for. Never one to miss an age-appropriate opportunity, Swift hit up a Toronto portrait studio to bust out a few charming poses.
Tuesday: Rihanna
Anyone familiar with Rihanna knows the Barbados singer is a fan of slightly unusual fashion statements. That being said, the girl's been falling behind in the weird wardrobe department, thanks to the efforts of Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga. Not to be outdone, Rihanna brought out an unforgettable ensemble to her Rihanna for River Island launch event: sheer top, old-school Letterman jacket, and bright blue lips.
Wednesday: Prince Harry and Prince William
When you're a prince, you don't really get to experience the 9-5 toil the rest of the world takes part in. This is unfortunate. Luckily, BGC Partners invited Prince Harry and Prince William to their trading floor to give the young royals a taste of the daily grind. Reportedly, the princes were involved in a number of multi-billion deals while there. Not to bad for their first — and only — day on the job.
Thursday: Beyonce Knowles
Beyonce Knowles turned 32 last week, so naturally, she's taking a long, leisurely vacation to the Mediterranean to celebrate. Husband Jay Z treated her to a $350,000 dream trip that included yacht cruising, cigar smoking, and champagne drinking.
Friday: Orlando Jones
Don't worry too much. This isn't a homicidal maniac — it's a publicity stunt for Fox's homicidal new series Sleepy Hollow. The show set up a Sleepy Hollow Experience in Madison Square Park and then invited supporting actor Orlando Jones by to swing an axe around in a menacing manner. Jones, like the true professional he is, nailed the assignment.
