Favorite on- and off-screen couple Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev has already ended their 3-year relationship but the "Vampire Diaries" fans and media are still watching their every move as to how they carry on with their lives after the split. Apparently, Ian and Nina rushed towards the comforting arms of family and friends while dealing with the breakup.
Nina Dobrev, the 24-year-old Canadian beauty, has been expressing on the social networking site "Twitter" the importance of her family, friends and health. The brunette actress shared to the Twitter followers the pictures of her with family members and close friends after the split reports spread on the internet.
Over the weekend, Nina was spotted looking happy and having a blast partying with friends and "Vampire Diaries" co-star Claire Holt at the West Hollywood hotspot "Bootsy Bellows." The actress also recently appeared at the "Rachael Ray Show" which is her first public interview after the split with boyfriend Ian Somerhalder.
At the TV show appearance, Nina Dobrev looked charming but distant probably from tension that TV host Rachael Ray would swerve and bluntly ask the status of her love life. It is obvious that personal questions are not included in the pre-screened questions for Nina's interview.
Meanwhile, the 34-year-old heartthrob Ian Somerhalder focused on spending some quality time with family in New Orleans. The actor was spotted absorbing the beautiful scenery of the Louisiana coast with his father, Robert Somerhalder, and a pet dog while observing the plot of land that he bought for expansion.
To free his mind from thinking about the heartbreak with girlfriend Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder keeps himself busy with work. The actor spent the weekend promoting one of his favorite eco-friendly companies in Brussels, Belgium.
"The Vampire Diaries" Season 4 may have wrapped up but US Weekly reports that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will still continue working together in a professional and friendly manner despite the split.
