The Glee star found the "new love of my life" in September when he adopted Australian cattle dog Noah Saw Salling, whom he named with the help of costar Lea Michele.

NATALIE MORALES

A lovable mutt named Zara cast a spell on the Today host when she bumped into Morales backstage at the morning show. Morales told PEOPLE, "I was playing with her and petting her, and she was so good with me already. I think she sort of said, 'Hey, I'm coming home with you.'"

The Man Up star added a whopping six pets to her brood this year. The actress is now mom to three Chihuahuas and three cats.

Much like the birth of Carey's own twins, the birth of her dog ChaCha's pups was big news this year. "Breaking news!!! Cha Cha gives birth!!!" the singer Tweeted on Feb. 5. "Twin girls!!! Details + puppy photos to follow."

Kate & Prince William Go Casual During Charity Visit

He's got moves! 

Prince William made his wife, the Duchess of Cambridge, laugh when he started dancing during a Christmastime stop at a London charity project on Wednesday. 

Kate, in a olive green Ralph Lauren jersey dress and her favorite black suede boots, looked relaxed as she stepped out beside a dressed-down William during a visit to Centrepoint. 

The couple, both 29, joined in a culinary class and watched a performance by the winner of the center's talent show. Later, William joined resident Vanessa Boateng, 18, for an impromptu dance. 

"You dust your shoulders off twice," Boateng instructed the Prince, who performed the routine while Kate watched and giggled next to him. 






For Kate, it was a first visit to the charity, and for William, it will have been an emotional return. He was introduced to it by his late mother Diana, Princess of Wales, who preceded him as royal patron. He took up the role of patron in 2005. 

His strong ongoing commitment toCentrepoint was underscored when, in December 2009, he spent one night on the streets with the charity's chief executive, Seyi Obakin. 

George Clooney & Stacy Keibler Heat Up for the Holidays in Mexico

Forget "let it snow!" George Clooney and his girlfriend Stacy Keibler are saying, "let us go!" this holiday season as they jet off once again to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. 

The Golden Globe-nominated star of The Descendants, 50, and former WWE star were photographed Tuesday wearing shorts and shades while exploring their resort surroundings in a golf cart. 

The two were also in Cabo, on Mexico's Baja Peninsula, for Thanksgiving, and a month before that they rented a villa there to celebrate Keibler's 32nd birthday. 

Clooney was spotted Monday with pal Cindy Crawford and her family, who also are currently vacationing in the Mexican sun. 

Why 2011 Was Jennifer Aniston's Best Year Ever!

After years of heartache and series of box office bombs, Jennifer Aniston finally got her groove back.

The 42-year-old actress dated a handful of men following her 2005 split with Brad Pitt, but it wasn't until she began romancing her Wanderlust costar Justin Theroux, 40, that she really found love again.

"Jen hasn't felt this way about anyone since Brad," an insider told Us Weekly in August. Added another pal: "They are moving quickly, but they know the feelings they have about [each other] are different from past romances."

Aniston's new romance wasn't the only cause for celebration in 2011. In addition to starring in two hit movies (Just Go With It and Horrible Bosses), the actress expanded her social circle. She grew closer to Reese Witherspoon (who played her sister Jill on Friends) and vacationed with E!'s Chelsea Handler.

"Jennifer Aniston makes me laugh," Handler, 36, has raved. "She's irreverent and hilarious, and she sends me really, really funny e-mails."

Aniston surrounded herself with more strong women when she got behind the lens as part of Lifetime's Five anthology. Joined by Demi Moore, Alicia Keys, Penelope Spheeris and Patty Jenkins, first-time director Aniston helped viewers empathize with five women's battle with breast cancer.

Aniston's talents were recognized in July when she received the ultimate honor: taking part in the iconic hand and footprint ceremony at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

"Man, I have to tell you, I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd be sticking my body in cement for a good reason," Aniston joked.

Making the event more special? Theroux and Handler joined Aniston for the momentous occasion.

Hugh Hefner: I Pushed Lindsay Lohan to Go Fully Naked for Playboy

What Hugh wants, Hugh gets.

When Lindsay Lohan signed on for a cover shoot for Playboy magazine, the 25-year-old star and her team blanched at the prospect of going all the way.

"I think it was essentially mama [Dina] and the folks around her that kept pushing for less nudity," the mag's found Hugh Hefner told E! News of rumors that he convinced Lohan to go fully naked.

And I said, 'We're doing a nude pictorial here. We're going to do it in a very classy way and we're going to do it in a way in which it will not be forgotten.'"

And indeed it wasn't. In a tribute to her idol Marilyn Monroe's iconic Playboy pics, the blonde-again star posed against a red velvet background with bright-red lipstick and a sexy pair of pumps. "The pictorial and the concept…came from me," Hefner said.

Still, even Hefner himself initially worried about featuring the erratic star, famously plagued by legal problems as well as drug and alcohol struggles.

"It really came as a surprise to me," he said. "I kind of had mixed emotions about it initially. . . I wasn't quite sure where she was at in her life, obviously. It depends on whether it's Tuesday or Thursday."

Nina Dobrev: How I Stay Fit During the Holidays

The holidays can wreak havoc on anyone's waistline -- unless that person is Nina Dobrev.

When Us Weekly caught up with the 22-year-old Vampire Diaries star at the Ripple Effect charity dinner benefitting The Water Project in L.A. Saturday, Dobrev revealed her healthy motto: "It's all about balance."

"I love to do yoga," the Canadian actress said. "I love to indulge and eat yummy things, but then I go to yoga and exercise."

Dobrev admitted that she finds it hard to resist her favorite holiday fare, which includes turkey and brownies.

"I just did a fitting for my People's Choice Awards dress and as they were altering it to fit me. I was like, 'Take a couple of those pins out a few inches -- leave a little room for the food!'" Dobrev joked.

When she isn't noshing on her favorite holiday treats, Dobrev uses her Vitamix blender to make healthy shakes. "They're delicious!" raved Ian Somerhalder's girlfriend. "They're really, really good. and it's healthy but it's still a snack."

Dressed in a custom-designed Monique Lhuillier blush-hued gown, Witherspoon, 35, "took your breath away," a guest at her April nuptials told PEOPLE. Husband Jim Toth, 40, is certainly a big reason why the A-lister can't stop smiling these days. "He's wonderful," the Water for Elephants star tells Vogue. He's just a really great guy, and I feel really lucky."

Being well-endowed since sixth grade, the blonde bombshell points out that "there's no way to hide them as much as you want to bandage your boobs down." Simpson, 30, has since learned to embrace her chest as her "best accessory," telling PEOPLE, "Now I can make my way in and out of parking tickets: Show the girls and give a wink!"

Moore's musician husband Ryan Adams likes her makeup-free, but the actress tells PEOPLE, "I'm a product junkie. I love playing with makeup." Though the 27-year-old Tangled star admits she may not be "particularly good at putting on my own makeup," there's one thing she can do without blinking an eye: "I'm an expert at curling my lashes without a mirror."

Her good looks and fashion sense made Holmes a natural choice to play Jackie O. in the TV biopic The Kennedys. But the 32-year-old star mom felt a connection to the former First Lady that was more than skin deep. "She had so much strength. ... Turn on your radio. What’s on? Odds are it’s a Christmas song, and odds are it’s one of those overplayed tunes like Mariah Carey‘s classic, Justin Bieber‘s “Mistletoe” or one fromBurt Iver, that old dude who wrote and sang most of the holiday songs we know and loathelove today. But you know what? There are approximately 8,274 other holiday songs that you probably don’t know about because they never get played on the radio, in the shopping malls, or on your fave TV shows. ANYWHERE, we tell ya!

So for our Playlist of the Week, we’re honoring 10 of those lost-but-not-forgotten tunes from the gleeks, Taylor Swift, and yes, even Kanye West that’ll get you all warm and fuzzy.

1. “Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays” — N*SYNC
Everyone always says that Mariah Carey‘s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” is the most classic Christmas song, right? Wrong. N*SYNC‘s is a million times more awesome, catchy, and festive. And also, there’s nothing tackier cuter than a platinum-blonde JT riding a sleigh.

2. “All I Want for Christmas is You” — Mercedes, Glee
And speaking of that classic Mariah tune, nobody has done it justice (Nope, not even Bieber) quite like Amber Riley from Glee. This song’s on the this year’s Glee Christmas album, but we hope it makes it to radio, too. Hearing it on our iPods is simply not enough!

3. “Baby It’s Cold Outside” — Kurt and Blaine, Glee
And while we’re on the topic of Glee, this duet from Klaine is easily our fave from last year’s holiday episode. Anyone want to curl up to the fire with Darren Criss serenading you? Yeah. That’s what we thought.

4. “My Only Wish (This Year)” — Britney Spears
This is old school Brit Brit right here, you guys. Back then her only wish was for, ya know, a boyfriend, but now that Britney’s got that, two kids, and a thousand million dollars, we kind of feel like this song is out of date. But nonetheless, it’s still one of our most-loved Xmas songs ever.

5. “White Christmas” — Destiny’s Child
We miss Destiny’s Child. We LOVED hearing their song on Glee this week so so much. But if you need more of ‘em too, listen to Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle’s take on this classic tune. Such. Amazing. Vocals.

6.”My Grown Up Christmas List” — Jennette McCurdy
You’ve prob heard Kelly Clarkson‘s version of this song on the radio sometime between herAmerican Idol win in 2001 and now. But we’re sort of obsessed with Jennette’s version that she literally just put up on her YouTube channel yesterday. Don’t you think iCarly‘s BFF deserves some lovin’ too? Take a listen to it before you judge.

7. “The Chanukah Song” — Adam Sandler
Oh hey, America. There are some people out there who don’t celebrate Christmas, ya know. So in honor of those guys, we think Adam Sandler’s classic song about those 8 crazy nights should get a little bit more action. And you know what else? He should come out with a new version about today‘s Jewish celebs who we actually care about. Just sayin’.

8. “Last Christmas” — Taylor Swift
Taylor’s version of this tune might as well been ripped straight off her album, “Fearless.” It’s romantic, it’s country-ish, it’s about a boy breaking her heart. See where we’re going with this?

9. “Joy to the World” — Jonas Brothers
We. Miss. The Jonas Brothers. Like, when they were an actual band and not just doing that whole solo thing. And we guess until we get new music from Kevin, Joe and Nick, we’ll just have their rock n’ roll version of the sappy Xmas song on repeat. All day. Slash all week. And you might too. You’ve been warned.

10. “Christmas in Harlem” — Kanye West
Um, so no, Christmas in Harlem isn’t different than Christmas in insert-your-town-name-here. But Kanye’s tune about it? It’s not your usual cheery, festive song, folks.
